Brauerei Karg is a family-owned brewery located in the historic center of Murnau am Staffelsee, Bavaria, specializing primarily in traditional top-fermented wheat beers (Weißbier) brewed in accordance with the German Purity Law. Founded in 1912 by Andreas Karg when he acquired the Hirschvogel brewery, the independent family business has been run across generations by the Karg and Schubert families, combining time-honored brewing expertise with regional ingredients and bottle conditioning.
