How profiles are assembled

Random Beer Finder combines structured research with explicit editorial review. Automation can assist the work, but it does not publish records by itself.

01

Establish the identity

The beer and brewery are matched before specifications are accepted. Distinct vintages, alcohol-free versions, barrel editions, and similarly named beers are treated as separate products.

02

Prefer direct evidence

Official brewery and product pages take priority for objective details. Relevant retailer and specialist sources may support missing context.

03

Review before publication

Editors review proposed values, descriptions, source links, images, and relationships. New or imported records begin as drafts and can be marked as needing review.

04

Label estimates

When a supported value is a cautious estimate rather than a confirmed specification, the public profile displays a tilde and the label “AI est.”

05

Calculate sourced ratings

Ratings are editorial aggregates derived from accepted external rating observations. Random Beer Finder does not present them as ratings submitted by its own visitors.

06

Keep volatile facts provisional

Prices, availability, ratings, and external links can change. Visitors and automated tools should confirm time-sensitive information on the current profile and linked destination.
